Personal Training
Personal Trainers build the best programming for you.
The number one goal for people joining health clubs is that they want to lose weight (which really means lose fat). A select few are successful on their own; however the vast majority need the guidance of a professional to help them achieve their objective.
If You Keep On Doing What You've Always Done, You'll Keep On Getting What You've Always Got
Studies have clearly shown that people who work with a Personal Trainer will achieve up to 80% better results three times faster than on their own. Now why is that? Do they have some secret exercises that they only reveal to their clients? Are they just keeping the 'good stuff' for themselves?
Itonic V Power Plate. Let the battle commence
New exercise regimes and machines are constantly being added to the market, and when two very similar ones are introduced, well, it can all get a little confusing. Before Christmas we had a look at the Power Plate over a four week period. Now, it's summer time, and with sun holidays looming it's time to think about that bikini or speedo physic that you are looking for. So, I headed off to 1escape Health Club in Smithfield where they now have an I-tonic plate with one on one training with a qualified trainer from the gym, rather then a class. It lasts for 30 minutes and incorporates the same exercises as the power plate and massage techniques, but with a small twist - it's much harder.
Personal Trainers tips on how to get ready for the slopes
The winter has arrived and with it the cold weather, rainy days and the sparkling lights of christmas decorations around the city. In other words it's time to invest some money in a cosy scarf a snug pair of gloves and a thermal jacket to keep you warm during this chilly season.
The Fitness Issue
It is common sense that being physically fit is beneficial for our health and that it positively influences our performance in all areas of life. However, since common sense does not always translate into common practice millions of people remain the exact opposite of being fit. Gradual loss of energy levels caused by sedentary jobs of our office workers, postural deformities brought to us by hours spent in front of a computer screen, lack of muscle flexibility and strength all contribute to gradually reducing our quality of life. We all desire health, longevity, happiness and most of us realize the importance of acquiring and maintaining a healthy and strong body.
