How it works
It is a method of exercise which focuses on improving the body’s core by making the body more flexible and stronger. It is more dynamic than Yoga (with the exception of Power Yoga) because it pushes the body through stretching and targets flexibility, posture and strength. Pilates goes through systematic moves. The main focus is on the core which is why Pilates is known for re-shaping especially the abdominal region and helps to flatten the stomach muscles.
